Day 157

How times change things.

This is the house neighboring my grandma's house, across the street.
This was taken on the 11th of July, 2006.
Almost a year ago from the present date (July 8th, 2007).
It was vacant then, and the house was slowly falling into disrepair.
I took this, inspired by the house on the cover of
The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New.




This is the same house one year later.
Present day...






The house remains in disrepair.
In actuality, I wouldn't call it vacant anymore.
Abandoned is a more appropriate term.
But it was home to some.
Squatters entered the house at some point.
A fire caught flame, and the squatters accidentally committed arson.
It's so odd how much can happen in the span of a year,
While at the same time so little.
