Day 121

And we stand, blinded by the scorching sun high above,
Tethered to the unfathomably beautiful land below our feet.

Day 120

The light plays it's tricks,
And we go about our business never noticing.
I notice.

Tuesday, May 29, 2007

Day 119

Freedom.

Day 118

Today was weird,
No lies.

Day 117

I could never describe today in words.
Never.

Happy birthday Rachel Lane.

Day 116

Despite what's covered in shadow,
If a shadow covers entirely,
That only shows there is a great light shining down.

Day 115

I'm going down to Houston today.

Friday, May 25, 2007

Day 114

I realized today that whether I adore or abhor my current job,
This will probably be the only job I will have in my life
That I can actually have honest fun flaunting.
The only job that I can have a reputation in and demand no respect.

Wednesday, May 23, 2007

Day 113

I really don't have much left to lose...

Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Day 112

And we slow to acknowledge the knots in the laces.
And we go back to where we moved out to the places.

[Heart It Races - Architecture In Helsinki]

Day 111

It reminds me of someone,
It doesn't remind me of something.

Monday, May 21, 2007

Day 110

I'm not perfect.
I admit that much.
You can't expect perfection of me.
I'm only human.

But how dare you say I am less than.
How dare you say I am not as good as.
How dare you assume I am not everything you want me to be.

I am exactly what you're looking for.
If you don't want me, you're drowning.
I'm the search boat.
Anyone in their right mind wouldn't ignore their rescue.

Today was illustrious and abhorrent in more ways
Than I'll ever care to recount next time I read this.

Sunday, May 20, 2007

Day 109

Surprise (early) birthday presents.
Ultimate frisbee.
Good days.

Saturday, May 19, 2007

Day 108

My vision will be looking like this by the time I head into work tomorrow.

Day 107

Letting bygones be bygones
Is becoming proceedingly difficult to do.

Wednesday, May 16, 2007

Day 106

We suffer in our lack of ability to communicate
And delve deep into misinterpretation.

Day 105

Here in the darkness, sleepless, we lie
Inventing thoughts we would never contrive.
A thought and a prayer to God we supply
That our night's sleep might not continue awry.

Tuesday, May 15, 2007

Day 104

It's completely different over there.

Sunday, May 13, 2007

Day 103

Blair Witch, UBC style.

Saturday, May 12, 2007

Day 102

I am esoteric.

Day 101

This was a good night.

Thursday, May 10, 2007

Day 100

So many pretty colors in a world of horrors.

I have not updated properly in the last week, but let me explain.
When that nasty storm came, where I posted all the intense tree damage and whatnot,
Well, all the power went out with that storm.
Apparently, DSL modems don't like power surges.
Mine died, and I've lacked internet capability for nearly a week.
We now have a new modem, and it should all be good though.
These are not of a backlog of photos. They were all taken on their perspective days.
I told you I'll update for every day. I won't break that promise. =]
Go look at Tuesday's, I quite like it.

Day 99

The term beauty is relative.
[Wednesday]

Day 98

They build walls high around us,
Closing us in, keeping us safe.
The outside is a scary place.
But it's a beautiful place.
One which defies expectation and imagination.
Pass through that which holds you back.

[Tuesday]

Day 97

What we think
Isn't always how we act.
How we want to live
Isn't always how we want end up living.

[Monday]

Day 96

These halls of grandeur mean the world to me.

[Sunday]

Day 95

Why me?

[Saturday]

Friday, May 4, 2007

Day 94

Today was a good day in that
"It could have been perfect"
Kind of way.
Alas, such is life.

Thursday, May 3, 2007

Day 93

Man, was that storm last night ever intense?
Thank God everyone is okay...

Day 92

Well there's flooding down in Texas,
All of the telephone lines are down.
And I've been trying to call my baby,
Lord, and I can't get a single sound.

Well dark clouds are rolling in,
Man, I'm standing out in the rain.
Yeah, flood water keep a rollin'.
Man, it's about to drive poor me insane.

Lord, and I'm going back home to stay.
Well, back home are no floods or tornadoes.
Baby, and the sun shines every day.

Texas Flood - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Day 91

One who allows you to flow,
To be in charge of your own forward motion,
Is one of the rarest gifts this world has to offer.
But moreso, one who HELPS you flow,
One who not only allows forward motion, but promotes it,
Is the greatest gift of all.
