I went to a party.
It was a little awkward, though I'm not sure why.
Today was good, though not terribly relevant.

Today was good, though not terribly relevant.
But let me set something straight.
This is my Photo 365 project. Most of you know this, duh.
Anyway, the reason I make this "profound statement" (sarcasm)
Is to instill the actual profound statement (severity)
That I put forth with aforementioned project.
This project is mine; my own.
I didn't take this project on because someone forced me to. Nobody wants me to continue except myself. Some of my pictures have been made fun of and ridiculed by friends and strangers alike. Many more have been touted and boasted by friends and strangers alike.
Following the rules; that was my intention.
The rules say: Take one picture for every day of a year.
Which is exactly what I do.
But these are my interpretations of the rules. It didn't say take 5-star artistic works every day. It didn't say to take crappy pictures that you would put on Myspace. It basically said, "Do what you can to the best of your ability." It also stated that this was a way to document your life throughout your year.
My pictures aren't always jaw-droppingly fantastic, though this is my aim. I can't always get a perfect subject to photograph, nor can I always get the perfect lighting, angle, etc. Emotionally, mentally, physically, monetarily, and idealistically, this is impossible. But I try my best to bring something that is intriguing and pleasing to the eye.
But I'm also doing this for myself, and if my pictures aren't of phenominal quality, you should bear to mind you aren't the only person to please. I document what I do every day with this project. If I don't have my camera, time, energy, I'll use my camera phone. Lesser quality for better documentation. On the flip side, higher quality through equal or lesser than documenting if I do have my camera. What I'm trying to say is that if my pictures aren't perfect, don't rag on me, because the photographs are more for me than you.
Furthermore, I'm not about to let the rules tie me down. It says one type of picture per day. It doesn't detail what kind of photography. I use film cameras, and digital cameras. I have dabbled in cinematography. I have even taken a picture with my computer. I do this either because it documents better, or a simple photo can't tell what I want to say. If I don't post a picture one day, and do something weird and different (or differentiating from the norm) don't give me heat either, for I am simply using my own interpretations of the rules. Rules that aren't set into stone are guidelines, and they are guiding me on my way to enjoying what I do.
None of this was important. But this project is important to me.
You viewing my project is also important to me. And whether you see every picture every day, view only once in a while, or have never seen this place until this very moment, I thank you for taking your time to look at something that I'd probably tend to call "pretty" or "cool" if you spoke to me about it in person. I'm grateful endlessly for your patience and interest. Thank you.

I wrote this because I'm TERRIBLY sleep deprived and have gotten about a total of 12 hours of sleep in the last 4 days. It's way not healthy and my brain is definitely on the fritz, woooooo.
